In 1931, pilot R. Van de Velde owner of this elegant aircraft carries out the raid
Brussels-Nuremberg-Vienna (1400 kms) in nine hours of flight, that
is to say with an average of 155 km/h. August 22 of the same year,
R. Van de Velde gains the first place with the course of an air
rally organized by the royal aero club of Belgium. |
